PWR supplies a range of Motorad radiator caps for both our Custom and OEM spec radiators in either standard or safety lever release versions. Keeping the cooling system full is the goal in any recovery system and as temperature increases, coolant expands and builds pressure. As this pressure exceeds the caps€™ pressure rating, coolant is pushed out of the radiator and into the overflow (recovery) tank. For racing and high performance applications, a higher pressure cap will help in raising the coolant boiling point limit and keep the coolant within the radiator for longer, avoiding any overheating. Non lever caps are also compatible with our signature red Billet Cap covers.
